McKenzie Hudges Wins 2025 Supernova Award

The Supernova Award represents the pinnacle of individual achievement at our company. This prestigious honor, determined through anonymous peer voting, is presented to the standout team member of the year by their Executive Team during the Senior Living Communities Annual Meeting Memory Gala. A night dedicated to celebrating those who excel in their profession, fostering a culture of compassionate professionalism and positive leadership, and putting people first.

This year, we are proud to congratulate our Social Director, McKenzie Hudges, as the recipient of the 2025 Cascades Verdae Supernova Award. She oversees a team whose goal is to host meaningful, diverse, and engaging social programs. Ensuring that Members come together for activities, unique dining events, and clubs/organizations creates friendships and a tight-knit community at Cascades Verdae.

“I attended Clemson University with the goal of becoming a wedding and event coordinator, but after college, I realized that nothing felt quite right in my work. When I interviewed at Cascades Verdae for the role of Private Event Coordinator, I was hooked by my first interaction with a Member. This job brings me immense joy and a sense of purpose; knowing that I can improve someone’s life as part of my profession is truly my favorite thing in the world!”
